
Biography
Madelaine P. Hicks is a member of the firm’s Public & Education law practice group, where she focuses her practice on the representation of public sector and municipal clients in various Labor & Employment and Litigation matters.
Madelaine P. Hicks works with both public and private sector clients on a broad range of civil litigation matters. Ms. Hicks currently focuses her practice on labor and employment law, working with other attorneys to represent public employers in disciplinary hearings, grievance arbitrations, and labor negotiations.
She also supervised litigation and attorney ethics defense departments at that firm and played a key role in creating and supervising its pro bono department.
Ms. Hicks earned her Juris Doctor from Rutgers School of Law in Newark, NJ. Ms. Hicks earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Amherst in Amherst, MA where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a minor in African-American Studies & Sociology.
