Alexandra B. Knoth is an experienced litigator with a deep understanding of environmental law, land use law, and local government regulations.
Prior to joining the firm, Alexandra represented various public clients including municipalities, zoning and planning boards, and public utilities and non-profits in a wide range of litigation and transactional matters. Her litigation experience includes cases involving redevelopment, land use, contract, and local government law, serving as both plaintiff and defense counsel.
Alexandra’s practice also involved Natural Resource Damage (NRD) litigation on behalf of the State of New Jersey against corporate polluters with contaminated sites located across the State. She also has experience defending and litigating personal injury matters on behalf of a major insurance carrier and its policyholders. From 2018-2019, Alexandra served as Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable John H. Pursel, J.S.C. in the Civil Division of the New Jersey Superior Court, Warren County.
Alexandra received her degree from Vermont Law School, with a focus in environmental and land use law. Prior to graduation, she spent a semester in Washington, D.C. as a law clerk with the United States Environmental Protection Agency in the Office of Enforcement and Compliance Assurance where she assisted with enforcement actions arising out of the Toxic Substances Control Act and the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act against a multitude of violators.
