Anthony J. Gallo focuses his practice on entertainment, transactional intellectual property, real estate, as well as corporate and business law. He specializes in providing representation to individuals and businesses in all facets of the music industry.
Anthony is a skilled entertainment lawyer, providing comprehensive legal guidance to music industry professionals in a wide range of matters, including contracting, intellectual property registration, licensing, and business formation. Throughout his career, he has represented a plethora of prominent music and film industry professionals, including recording artists, songwriters, producers, and actors. Anthony counsel artists in every stage of their career, from aspiring artists looking to procure recording contracts to seasoned artists seeking to protect their creative work across diverse platforms.
Anthony also has significant experience in real estate, bankruptcy, and general civil litigation. As a counselor, facilitator, and problem-solver, he is also adept at assisting clients with real estate and finance transactions, as well as business related disputes.
Prior to joining Scarinci Hollenbeck, Anthony served as Chief Legal Officer of Q Entertainment Innovation Lab and Principal of AJ Gallo Associates, PC. He also previously served as vice president and director of business and legal affairs at Cove City Music, where he negotiated deals and oversaw the company’s day-to-day business operations.
Anthony is active in New York’s entertainment law community. He previously chaired the Suffolk County Bar Association’s Entertainment & Sports Law Committee and has presented accredited seminars on recording industry practice for the Suffolk Academy of Law. Anthony has published several articles on music industry law, with works including: “By The Way, What Exactly Is Music Publishing” and “Recording Artist Royalties: What Does the Record Company Really Owe You?”
