Our Approach

We are highly skilled in the enforcement of creditors’ rights and work with various financial institutions, corporations, insurance companies, leasing and finance companies and other organizations and business entities interested in preserving and enforcing their rights as creditors. Our attorneys routinely advise creditors regarding their rights and remedies in bankruptcy, under the Uniform Commercial Code, in foreclosures and in other types of recovery of real and personal property, secured and unsecured transactions, and other areas of commercial law.

In doing so, we bring together attorneys with broad and diverse business experience in order to help the firm’s clients achieve creative, expeditious, and cost-effective solutions. When appropriate, on matters requiring an interdisciplinary approach, attorneys often consult with other attorneys within Scarinci Hollenbeck’s comprehensive Corporate Transaction & Business, Commercial Real Estate, Crisis & Risk Management, Insurance & Liability, eDiscovery, Environmental and, in some instances, International Law & Trade practice groups. Amply resourced, this extensive business and corporate law expertise enables Scarinci Hollenbeck to regularly achieve more favorable results for its clients.

Scarinci Hollenbeck delivers comprehensive services to financially impacted entities, including financial institutions, corporations, insurance companies, leasing and finance companies, and other organizations and businesses involved in the recovery and potential or actual restructuring of problem business credits.

Our attorneys are accustomed to dealing with complex and sophisticated business matters and have many years of experience handling all financial issues surrounding bankruptcy and reorganization, out of court workouts, and state and federal court litigation over creditors’ and debtors’ rights. Our Group Chair, Joel R. Glucksman, has been named to the “New Jersey Super Lawyers” list continuously since 2007. The list, published by Super Lawyers Magazine, is an annual listing of outstanding lawyers from more than 60 practice areas who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement.

Where litigation is necessary to resolve debt and related problems, we offer responsive and effective service at all levels, including alternative dispute resolution, prejudgment remedies, and a renowned trial and appellate practice. Knowing that a strong litigation position often leads to a settlement of the dispute, our attorneys are practiced strategists who make every effort to set the table for the negotiation of a favorable and carefully documented workout of creditor-debtor disputes.

The Super Lawyers list is issued by Thomson Reuters. A description of the selection methodology can be found at Super Lawyers. No aspect of this advertisement has been approved by the Supreme Court of New Jersey.
