Carolyn R. Chaudry, Counsel, concentrates her practice in the area of Education Law and Labor & Employment Law.

Carolyn R. Chaudry is a seasoned education attorney with significant experience in the areas of special education and labor and employment law/negotiations. Through her special education practice, Ms. Chaudry represents school boards at Individualized Education Program (“IEP”) meetings, mediations, compliance investigations, and other administrative and legal proceedings associated with this complex area of the law. She has also been involved with HIB proceedings in the State of New Jersey, including by conducting in-service workshops on topics such as New Jersey Anti-Bullying law and student discipline.

Carolyn also has substantial experience representing board of education clients in a variety of other areas including student matters, general education policy and administration, and negotiations. In the area of negotiations, Carolyn provides cost effective and economical alternatives in her role as either negotiations consultant or spokesperson. She provides prompt, timely and accurate responses to client requests and inquiries.

Carolyn routinely conducts in-service workshops and has presented on a wide-range of education related topics including Special Education, New Jersey Anti-Bullying Legislation, and Student Discipline.

While attending law school, Carolyn served as a judicial intern in the Superior Court of New Jersey, Civil Division in Bergen County. Furthermore, during law school, Carolyn served as student counsel to low-income children in the Special Education Clinic at Rutgers School of Law-Newark.
