Caitlin P. Dettmer works with private and public sector clients on both state and federal labor and employment issues.

She also has experience handling intellectual property matters, including trademark registration and infringement issues.

Immediately before joining Scarinci Hollenbeck, Caitlin was associated with a Union, New Jersey law firm where she gained valuable experience reviewing and revising employee handbooks, distribution agreements, privacy policies and website terms and conditions of use. She is also proficient in drafting merchandise license agreements, identifying intellectual property infringement, preparing Digital Millennium Copyright Act takedown notices, filing U.S. trademark applications, and facilitating the registration of trademarks in Canada.

Caitlin earned her Juris Doctorate, magna cum laude, from Rutgers Law School in Newark, NJ, where she was Staff Editor (2014-2015) and Associate Managing Editor (2016-2016) of Rutgers Law Review. During law school, she was a Judicial Intern to Superior Court judges Hon. Mary F. Thurber and Hon. Frances A. McGrogan.
