Who We Are
Our International Law & Trade practice group is chaired by Moises (Moe) Vela, who served as Deputy Chief of Staff to Vice Presidents Joseph R. Biden, Jr. and Albert A. Gore. Moe’s many achievements—including serving as the first Hispanic in two senior executive roles in the White House—and reputation have garnered him the respect of U.S. government officials and policy makers on both sides of the political party aisle.
We understand how business models leverage information and resources globally and the importance of establishing and maintaining operations in multiple locations throughout the world. Our lawyers have extensive experience in technology, banking and finance, consumer protection, employment, international law and taxation, intellectual property, health care, and litigation.
