On Friday, September 6, 2024, Partner & Chair of Scarinci Hollenbeck’s Cannabis and Psychedelics Law department Daniel T. McKillop will be featured as a speaker on a panel entitled, “The Status and Future of the Psychedelics Industry in New Jersey and Beyond”.
The panel is one of several programs that will be held during NECANN’s annual New Jersey Cannabis Convention. The panel featuring Dan will involve a discussion on the varied state-by-state approaches to psychedelic policy reform, New Jersey’s pending psilocybin legislation and its similarities to and differences from New Jersey’s cannabis laws, related regulatory and municipal issues, efforts to educate the public about psychedelic substances and psychedelic-assisted therapy, and if time permits, the panel will open up for audience questions.

About Daniel T. McKillop
Daniel T. McKillop has served as chair of the firm’s cannabis law department since 2016. In 2021, Dan was appointed by the New Jersey State Bar Association (NJSBA) to serve on the organization’s Cannabis Law Committee, which he continues to be actively involved in. In 2022, Mr.McKillop expanded his practice to encompass counseling regarding the quickly developing psychedelics industry and in that same year, Dan helped form the NJSBA’s Psychedelic Law Subcommittee of which he serves as co-chair.
