ROI-NJ Influencers: Women in Business List Recognizes Special Education Attorney Nathanya G. Simon and Commercial Real Estate & Gaming Attorney Ashley Brinn
Little Falls, NJ – March 17, 2023 – Nathanya G. Simon and Ashley Brinn have been named to the ROI-NJ Influencers: Women in Business list for 2023. Nathanya was recognized for a second year in a row for her 40 years of service to New Jersey’s special education community, serving as a pioneer in the development of various special education laws. Ashley was recognized for the large impact she has made on New Jersey’s commercial real estate industry and for her involvement in nearly a dozen professional organizations.
Every year, the ROI Influencers: Women in Business list highlights accomplished women from various industries who have emerged as leaders or influencers in their field. About Nathanya G. Simon
Nathanya G. Simon, Partner and Chair of the firm’s special education practice, plays a major role in the firm’s school board representation in all legal, labor, and special education matters. Ms. Simon regularly counsels New Jersey school board clients throughout the state on day-to-day matters through to complex special education litigation, when necessary. She represents clients at identification meetings, evaluation determinations, Individualized Education Plan (“IEP”) meetings, in mediation, in Complaint Investigations, at due process administrative hearings held at the Office of Administrative Law (“OAL”), and in litigation appealed into the Federal Court and State courts.
Ashley Brinn, Counsel, is a member of Scarinci Hollenbeck’s Commercial Real Estate, Land Use, Gaming and Regulatory practice groups. She represents and advises sophisticated clients, including national homeowner associations and Fortune 500 companies from a broad range of industry groups. Ashley has extensive experience representing and appearing before municipal planning and zoning boards and obtaining approvals for commercial developers and homeowners. She also represents and advises large, multinational publicly-traded casino corporations, gaming equipment companies, and Internet gaming service providers and operators, as well as regional entities and individuals in licensing, regulatory, governance, and compliance matters.
