Scarinci Hollenbeck, LLC is proud to announce that it has been named a 2026 NJBIZ Empowering Women honoree. The program recognizes New Jersey companies and organizations for tangible, innovative efforts to advance women in the workplace and in the community. The firm is one of more than 40 organizations selected this year, and it was also honored in 2023, the program’s inaugural year.
Women lead on both the business and legal sides of Scarinci Hollenbeck. Chief Executive Officer Katerin P. Traugh is the first woman to lead the firm’s operations. Partner Angela A. Turiano serves as Chief of the firm’s Litigation Section, and Partner Nathanya G. Simon chairs its Special Education practice. In 2026, the firm elevated Samantha Blake and Brittany Tarabour to Counsel, and Ms. Turiano and Associate Seraphema Menna were elected to the New Jersey Women Lawyers Association Board of Directors for the 2026-2028 term.
“This recognition belongs to the women who make this firm what it is, and to the colleagues who champion them,” said Katerin Traugh, Chief Executive Officer of Scarinci Hollenbeck. “We are proud of the progress we have made, and we remain committed to promoting, mentoring, and investing in women at every level of the firm.“
Now in its fourth year, the program honors the organization itself, celebrating the policies, programs, and culture that drive progress for women in New Jersey’s business community. Following an open nomination process, an independent panel of judges selected the 2026 NJBIZ Empowering Women honorees based on their commitment to efforts such as:
