201-896-4100 info@sh-law.comLyndhurst, NJ – June 9, 2022 – Scarinci Hollenbeck congratulates Partner Daniel T. McKillop for his role in the formation and leadership of the New Jersey State Bar Association’s (NJSBA) Psychedelic Law Subcommittee.
“I couldn’t be more thrilled to help lead this essential committee with other cannabis industry colleagues,” shared Mr. McKillop. “Psychedelics are quickly emerging as a powerful tool in healthcare, particularly in PTSD treatment and recovery. It is an honor to assist in the development of laws regarding substances that help improve the lives of others.”
The Psychedelic Law Subcommittee currently operates as an extension of the NJSBA’s Cannabis Law Special Committee, which Mr. McKillop has been affiliated with since his appointment in 2021. The goal of the new Subcommittee is to address various issues related to the developing legal field, including national and state legislation and regulation, FDA/DEA involvement, attorney ethics, healthcare and emerging medical therapy developments, GMP standards, licensing, intellectual property considerations, litigation matters, and much more.
