Scarinci Hollenbeck Partner Speaks about Cannabis and its Effect on Consumer Bankruptcy Practice

Scarinci Hollenbeck Partner & Chair of the firm’s Cannabis Law practice Daniel T. McKillop joined a panel discussing cannabis and its effect on consumer bankruptcy practice. The panel was hosted by the Hudson Valley Bankruptcy Bar Association as part of their 18th annual “The New Deal for Consumer Bankruptcy” event on Friday, September 17th, 2021.

The program was conducted via ZOOM. The second panel during the event featured Mr. McKillop, in addition to William A. Brandt, Jr. and Brian Malkin, Esq. Mr. McKillop and the panel discussed a variety of topics regarding cannabis law, issues that arise in the business of cannabis, and what occurs when filing for bankruptcy in the cannabis industry. Attendees of the virtual event were eligible for CLE credits.
