Congratulations to Partner Robert E. Levy for Re-certification as Criminal Trial Attorney
Lyndhurst, NJ, January 8, 2019 – Scarinci Hollenbeck is proud to announce that Robert E. Levy, Partner and Chair of the firm’s Litigation Group, has once again received his Criminal Trial Certification in the State of New Jersey. Combined with his Civil Trial Attorney recertification in 2016, Mr. Levy remains one of less than 3% of all trial-certified attorneys who are certified both as a criminal and civil trial attorney. Mr. Levy has held both the criminal and civil trial certifications for more than two decades.
Granted by the New Jersey Supreme Court, certified civil trial and criminal trial attorneys earn such designation by demonstrating superior levels of experience, education, knowledge, and skill in civil and criminal trial practices and by completing a rigorous approval process. The New Jersey Supreme Court says, “There are five specialty areas of practice that are approved for certification by the Supreme Court of New Jersey: civil trial law; criminal trial law; matrimonial law; workers’ compensation law; and Municipal Court law.”

Robert E. Levy has appeared in various federal and state courts nationwide. Levy’s practice includes jury and non-jury trial preparation and trials with emphasis upon complex civil and criminal matters including Labor and Employment Defense, Commercial and Corporate Litigation, Criminal Litigation and Civil Rights Litigation.
