Scarinci Hollenbeck Partner Nathanya G. Simon has been named by ROI-NJ to the “ROI Influencers: Women in Business” list for 2025. After four decades of practice, Nathanya’s pioneering influence in the field of special education continues to earn her recognition.
Each year, ROI-NJcreates a list recognizing the “most dynamic, influential, and innovative leaders across New Jersey.” This marks the fourth straight year that Nathanya has been recognized on this distinguished list.

Nathanya G. Simon chairs Scarinci Hollenbeck’s Special Education Group, where she plays a major role in the firm’s school board representation in all legal, labor, and special education matters. Nathanya regularly counsels New Jersey school board clients throughout the state on day-to-day matters through to complex special education litigation, when necessary. She represents clients at identification meetings, evaluation determinations, Individualized Education Plan (“IEP”) meetings, mediation, Complaint Investigations, due process administrative hearings held at the Office of Administrative Law (“OAL”), and in litigation appealed into the Federal Court and State courts.
