“Both Don and Todd have made a major mark on our firm, in their practice areas and with our clients,” said Russell Ascher, Executive Director. “They have shown a level of dedication and excellence that transcends the law they practice. Donald M. Pepe, who joined the firm as a partner in 2012, has made a name for himself for his involvement in virtually all aspects of complex real estate development and real estate transactional work. Throughout his career, Pepe has developed relationships with a number of prominent New Jersey planners, architects, engineers and other development professionals whose practices are complimentary, allowing him to offer a single-contact source for the development needs of the most demanding developer clients. Among his notable projects, in the span of one week, he succeeded in obtaining several significant approvals, one of which will allow for the construction of a Wawa convenience store and gas station on a formerly blighted site in North Bergen, New Jersey, along with four separate projects by two boards allowing for a total of over 1,400 residential units in burgeoning Jersey City. Prior to joining the firm, Pepe was Division General Counsel of the nation’s largest residential real estate developer, wherein he reported directly to the Division President.

On his new role, Pepe said, “I’m excited for this opportunity and am proud to lead a practice group with so many talented attorneys who bring so much to the table.”
