Red Bank, NJ – March 10, 2020 – Scarinci Hollenbeck was successful in securing preliminary and final site plan approval for the last phase of a nearly two-decade-long redevelopment initiative, the Lofts at Westmont Station. Located in Wood-Ridge, NJ, the redevelopment includes a 295-unit apartment building with 2800 sq. ft. of retail and commercial space, structured parking, and numerous amenities. This approval marks the culmination of an 18-year process to redevelop the site.

The Lofts at Westmont Station involves the redevelopment of a 67-acre tract of land located next to the former Curtiss Wright airplane engine factory. Conceptualized by Minno & Wasko Architects and Planners, the Lofts at Westmont Station redevelopment in the last phase in a redevelopment initiative that has seen the development of over 1500 units of townhomes and apartments, including over 150 affordable rental units as well as the development of retail and commercial uses to support the redevelopment area. The final phase of development will include a recreational complex to service the redevelopment area and the greater Wood-Ridge community. It also includes a new train station to service the residents of Wood-Ridge as well as the neighboring towns in the area.
