Jimenez has been nominated by NJ Governor Phil Murphy to serve as a Judge for the Superior Court of Hudson County. Mr. Jimenez is one of three legal practitioners to be honored with this nomination in 2021.
“We are extremely proud of Mike for his nomination. He is a shining example of what it means to be an exceptional attorney,” said Donald Scarinci, Firm Managing Partner. “It is a privilege to have worked with him and I have no doubt he will make a similarly meaningful impact on the bench as he did in our firm,” he continued.
Mr. Jimenez joined Scarinci Hollenbeck in 2016 as Counsel before being elevated to Partner in 2019. He primarily focuses his practice on representing public entities, as well as, large real estate developers and owners, commercial entities, financial institutions, and public and private business organizations in a variety of transactional matters. Corporation Counsel for the Town of West New York, as Town Attorney to the Town of Guttenberg, Special Litigation Counsel to the North Bergen Board of Education, and Labor Counsel to the Hudson County Schools of Technology. He has also served as a municipal prosecutor, public defender, and counsel to numerous school boards, including North Bergen, Weehawken, Hoboken, Paterson and Fairview.
“It is an incredible honor to have received the Governor’s nomination to serve,” stated Mr. Jimenez. “To be able to have a direct and meaningful impact in the County where I was raised and have practiced law is an astounding privilege in which I am grateful to embrace. I look forward to taking on this responsibility and fulfilling this role to the absolute best of my ability,” he continued.
