201-896-7169 rbienstock@sh-law.comThe National Association of Music Merchants’ annual gathering of music, sound, and event industry insiders is just a few weeks away. With product demonstrations, education sessions, and networking events, there is no better place to connect with both industry titans and emerging leaders.
On Saturday, April 15th, I am co-hosting a panel entitled “How to Make (and Keep) Money as a Musician” with renowned music industry accountant Alan Friedman.
As a musician and an attorney, I understand firsthand how difficult it can be for recording artists, songwriters, producers, and any working band to reap the full benefits of their talent and hard work. Our panel will provide best practices for navigating the “business” side of the industry and is designed to help ensure you aren’t leaving any revenue on the table.
NAMM also provides an ideal opportunity for members to expand their businesses. In addition to my panel presentation, Scarinci Hollenbeck will have a booth where I can connect with attendees. As an entertainment attorney for more than 35 years, I have represented clients from nearly every sector of the music industry, including artists, producers, and music manufacturers. My experience spans from negotiating entertainment industry contracts to tackling novel intellectual property issues to litigating intellectual property disputes.
If you have ever attended the NAMM Show, you know the schedule is packed with visiting great exhibits, roundtables, and other events. If you are interested in meeting with me at NAMM, I would love to schedule a dedicated time to connect. Please reach out to schedule a meeting by emailing rbienstock@sh-law.com.
