Little Falls, NJ – August 15, 2023 – The Commerce and Industry Association of New Jersey (CIANJ) featured Katerin Traugh, Scarinci Hollenbeck’s Executive Director, in its annual “Enterprising Women in Commerce Platinum Award” list. The annual list, found in the August 2023 issue of Commerce Magazine, features the stories of women in a variety of industries who have become standouts in their respective fields, including ‘Ones to Watch’ and ‘Platinum-level’ honorees.
“It is not every day that you find yourself featured in a magazine alongside such incredible leaders,” stated Ms. Traugh. “I am honored that CIANJ has recognized my efforts and included me on this prestigious list.”
Every year the CIANJ honors women who “demonstrate professional prowess and high achievement.” Katerin was recognized for her keen leadership ability and efforts in leveraging the firm for continued success. Katerin joined the firm in 2017 as Controller. Within three years, she was promoted to Executive Director, making her the youngest professional and first woman to occupy the role in the firm’s history. Notably, Katerin was unanimously appointed by the firm’s partners to this new role during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. Despite these challenging circumstances, she excelled, which enabled the firm to thrive in an unprecedented economic landscape. Under Katerin’s leadership, the firm has been acknowledged for its efforts to foster a more diverse and inclusive workplace. In 2023, Scarinci Hollenbeck was recognized as the Law Firm of the Year by the NJ Hispanic Bar Association and recognized by NJBIZ as a company leading the way in empowering women. The firm congratulates Katerin for her well-deserved acknowledgement by the CIANJ.
