Joining the firm are Counsel Harvey Poe and Senior Associate Amy Van Fossen. Jeffrey Pittard joined as Counsel in November. The addition of the three, who came from Starr Gern Davison & Rubin, adds additional depth to Scarinci Hollenbeck’s sophisticated domestic and international tax and estates team. All of the new attorneys have LL.M. degrees in Taxation, and worked closely together under the direction of Mr. Poe at their former firm.
“Joining Scarinci Hollenbeck is a good fit for us. It will enable us to provide our clients a greater depth of service offerings, both in tax and non-tax related matters,” said Mr. Poe.
For the last 40 years, Harvey Poe has enjoyed a high-profile career advising clients on tax and estate matters. He is also an author and lecturer. Mr. Poe, Ms. Van Fossen and Mr. Pittard bring solid experience in representing clients in tax disputes with federal and state taxing authorities, as well as in assisting high net worth individuals in all areas of estate and wealth preservation and tax planning. They have also handled many federal and state civil tax matters for individuals, including helping to settle IRS tax claims.

With the addition of Messrs. Poe and Pittard and Ms. Van Fossen, five of the attorneys in the group have LL.M. degrees in taxation.
