Sullivan, a highly regarded and well-known New Jersey environmental and land use attorney will receive the Meadowlands Chamber of Commerce’s Arline Simpson Leadership Award. With this Leadership Award, the Chamber seeks to honor members and individuals who have been key to advancing the Chamber’s mission and improving the Meadowlands community. Mr. Sullivan has been an active member of the Board of Directors of the Chamber for several years, spending many hours involved in important chamber initiatives, particularly related to economic development, transportation advocacy and regulatory reform. Mr. Sullivan is also a leader in understanding environmental laws pertaining to development in the Meadowlands District and surrounding municipalities. His knowledge has made him a valuable resource for companies attempting to navigate the complex web of environmental and land use regulations applicable to their projects in the Meadowlands region. William C. Sullivan, Jr. concentrates his practice in all areas of environmental law, land use law, redevelopment law, and renewable energy law. Mr. Sullivan’s practice includes the representation of clients with respect to a wide variety of land use and redevelopment projects, energy infrastructure projects, environmental permitting and compliance, site remediation, and related litigation. He has represented private developers on significant development and redevelopment projects throughout northern New Jersey, including many projects in the Meadowlands District.
