NJBiz Panel Discussion, “Business of Cannabis,” May 22, 2018

Daniel T. McKillop, is Chair of Scarinci Hollenbeck’s Cannabis Law practice group. He is speaking in an event entitled,”Business of Cannabis: A Panel Discussion”. The event, hosted by NJBiz,  features a panel of several industry experts. They will discuss the regulatory, financial, and operating considerations of the fast-growing cannabis business. According to NJBiz, recreational cannabis is a $6 billion-plus industry with numerous opportunities currently available to New Jersey entrepreneurs. Currently, there is only a medical marijuana program allowed in the state. However, this panel is happening at an important time as New Jersey is seriously considering the legalization of recreational use and sale of marijuana under the guidance of Governor Phil Murphy’s administration. In addition, the panel is discussing the possible expansion of the medical marijuana program already available in the state.
