On Thursday, October 30, 2025, Angela A. Turiano, Partner and Chair of the Litigation practice group at Scarinci Hollenbeck, will deliver her acclaimed lecture on SEC Regulation Best Interest (Reg BI) to the Investor Law Clinic at Fordham University School of Law.
This marks the first time Angela presents this lecture at Fordham, following several successful presentations at the University of Miami School of Law’s Investor Rights Clinic, where she has been a returning guest lecturer.
Although this is her first time bringing this particular program to Fordham, Angela’s relationship with the university is well established. Earlier in 2025, she made her fifth appearance as a mock arbitrator for the Securities Arbitration Clinic at Fordham School of Law. In that role, Angela drew on her extensive experience representing financial institutions and advisors to provide detailed feedback to students after their mock opening statements and closing arguments. Her goal has been to help these future lawyers strengthen their advocacy skills and gain a deeper understanding of securities disputes.
In her upcoming lecture, Angela will discuss practical and regulatory insights surrounding Regulation Best Interest, including:
“I am delighted to bring this lecture to Fordham for the first time,” Angela said. “It is always inspiring to engage with students who are passionate about securities law. Sharing real-world experience helps prepare them for the complex issues they will face in practice and reminds me how rewarding it is to contribute to the next generation of legal professionals.”
Angela’s continued involvement with leading law schools reflects her dedication to both her practice and the broader legal community. Through her lectures and mentoring, she continues to advance understanding in the field of securities law and inspire future attorneys to pursue excellence in advocacy and compliance.
Angela Turiano is a distinguished attorney at Scarinci Hollenbeck, LLC, with extensive experience in securities litigation and regulatory matters. She is known for her deep understanding of industry regulations and her ability to provide strategic legal counsel to financial services clients.
