201-896-4100 info@sh-law.comLyndhurst, New Jersey, November 10, 2016 – Scarinci Hollenbeck has expanded its Tax, Trusts and Estates law group with the addition of Counsel Jeffrey R. Pittard. Mr. Pittard will be based at the firm’s Lyndhurst office and brings solid experience to the firm in representing clients in tax disputes with federal and state taxing authorities, as well as in assisting high net worth individuals in all areas of estate and wealth preservation and tax planning. He has also handled many federal and state civil tax matters for individuals, including helping to settle IRS tax claims.
“We are excited to have Jeff as a key part of our team, to assist our growing client base with estate planning and tax issues; he will be a tremendous asset to our firm,” said Frank Brunetti, Chair of the firm’s Tax, Trusts and Estates practice group. “Mr. Pittard also maintains an estate probate practice in New Jersey, New York and Florida which works well with our estate planning practice.”
Before joining Scarinci Hollenbeck, Mr. Pittard was associated with a Roseland, New Jersey law firm for more than six years, where he represented clients in drafting estate planning documents, including wills and trusts. He also focused on client domicile issues and handled formation and dissolution documents for business entities.
Mr. Pittard, who is originally from Georgia, earned his Masters of Laws in Taxation from New York University School of Law, and his Juris Doctor from Seton Hall Law School. He graduated from Boston University College of Communication with a Bachelor of Science in Communication.
