John Scagnelli, Chair of Environmental Land Use Group, to be on Panel Discussing Resources to Jumpstart Vacant Property Redevelopment at Brownfield Coalition Event
Lyndhurst, NJ – October 14, 2016 – John M. Scagnelli, Scarinci Hollenbeck Partner and Chair of the firm’s Environmental and Land Use Group, will be among the panelists at a Brownfield Coalition of the Northeast (BCONE) Program and Resource Fair. Entitled “Resources to Jumpstart Your Vacant Property Redevelopment,” the Program will be held Mott MacDonald Training Facility held on November 2, 2016 from 3-6 p.m. Mr. Scagnelli and other panelists will discuss New Jersey incentives for sustainable development, to help owners of vacant and contaminated properties find redevelopment solutions.
According to Scagnelli, “Housing, commercial development and recreational areas and solar energy have all been developed successfully on remediated brownfield properties.”
The panel will share new financial tools, insurance products, and other risk management instruments, recent court decisions and the advancements in cleanup methods and technology that impact the brownfield remediation and redevelopment industries.
About John Scagnelli: John M. Scagnelli’s environmental law practice encompasses the entire environmental law field, including environmental compliance, environmental litigation, environmental auditing, environmental permitting and environmental counseling. He is Environmental Counsel to the New Jersey League of Municipalities.
