ReNew is a prisoner reentry program created to assist former federal inmates transition back to society. The program was officially launched in January 2013 to help ensure that former inmates will succeed after their release from prison and not commit new crimes that would send them back behind bars. ReNew received national attention in 2015 when Former President Barack Obama met with participants, coordinators, and volunteers and touted the program as a “model” to help address the country’s mass incarceration problem. Scarinci Hollenbeck is on the list of pool firms that represent program participants for their legal needs.

Fernando M. Pinguelo, Partner is a trial attorney and Chair of the firm’s Cyber Security & Data Protection and E-Discovery groups, devotes his practice to complex litigation with an emphasis on cyber security, data privacy, media and employment matters.A former prosecutor, Fernando’s experience addresses all facets of litigation (trial, mediation, arbitration, appellate) in both federal and state courts and he regularly handles “crisis litigation,” including emergency applications with the courts.
