New York, NY – April 29, 2015 – Anthony R. Caruso, Esq., partner and chair of the Sports, Media & Entertainment Law Group of Scarinci Hollenbeck LLC, will participate on a panel of experts at the Fashion Institute of Technology (“FIT”) being held on Wednesday, April 29, 2015 in New York City. The event, entitled Legal and PR Aspects of Managing Brand Image in Celebrity Endorsements and Licensing Agreements, is being hosted by the New York State Bar Association’s Fashion Law Committee.
Caruso is uniquely positioned to comment on such high profile controversies. He gained international attention in his representation of Miss New Jersey 2007 regarding a blackmail situation and allegations of moral turpitude. Mr. Caruso provided all legal counseling and negotiations, strategy, media supervision, and crisis management in that case. He appears regularly on major television networks and radio stations, and is routinely requested by the media for his advice and views on current legal issues. In addition to sports and entertainment law, he focus his practice in the areas of corporate and commercial transactions. He is a sports agent and currently teaches business law at NYU.
