On Tuesday, February 4th, 2020, Partner and Chair of Scarinci Hollenbeck’s Environmental & Land Use law practice group, John M. Scagnelli, will be serving as an instructor for an ethics course held at the 2020 NJ Site Remediation Conference. The two-day conference is hosted by the New Jersey Licensed Site Remediation Professionals Association (LSRPA) and will feature Mr. Scagnelli and numerous professionals in the area of environmental law conducting informational courses for attendees.
The course Mr. Scagnelli will instruct is entitled “Ethics Course”, which will take place from 2 PM until 5:15 PM. The course will review general and professional ethical fundamentals as well as the SRRA’s Code of Conduct, examine LSRP ethic requirements, business practices versus the standard of care, present case studies from presenters and participants, and more. The goal of the course is for attendees to gain a better understanding when dealing with LSRP conflict situations, understanding LSRP duties and responsibilities relating to the LSRP Code of Conduct and understanding the significance of “professionalism”.
