Mr. Pepe will be installed as a new member of the Board at MODC’s annual meeting and general membership luncheon to be held on June 17, 2016, at The Mill at Spring Lake Heights.
At Scarinci Hollenbeck, Mr. Pepe devotes his practice to all aspects of complex real estate development and real estate transactional work with an emphasis on retail and residential development. He works closely with business executives and in-house counsel to develop strategies for targeting acquisitions, negotiating land purchases, managing and evaluating feasibility studies, representing corporate interests before local, state and federal approval authorities, and securing land use and administrative approvals.
The Monmouth-Ocean Development Council, established in 1965, is a networking and advocacy group dedicated to supporting the business environment in Monmouth and Ocean Counties. MODC’s membership includes hundreds of influential business, community and government leaders representing diverse groups throughout the bi-county region.
Patrick McNamara, also a partner at Scarinci Hollenbeck, recently completed his three year term on MODC’s Board of Directors, and currently chairs their Energy & Environment Committee. Mr. McNamara said “MODC does a lot to promote local business and economic growth and tourism throughout Monmouth and Ocean Counties, and its membership is a great resource for businesses of all sizes. Our firm has been retained by several MODC members in recent years.”

About Donald M. Pepe:
Donald M. Pepe has considerable experience securing development approvals and closing commercial real estate transactions. He has negotiated and drafted a broad range of agreements pertaining to the acquisition and sale of property, financing and leasing, commercial and residential condominium formation and management, municipal and private development agreements, development grants and incentives, easements and operating agreements – across multiple property types, including office, retail, industrial and residential.
