201-896-4100 info@sh-law.comTodd Terhune, a Partner and Chair of Scarinci Hollenbeck’s Brownfield & Infrastructure Law Group will be among the faculty at a Rutgers Continuing Professional Education Course on Environmental Site Assessments, to be held on October 19-20, 2015. This two-day course will navigate the legal and regulatory maze that surrounds industrial and commercial site assessments and property transactions. This class is particularly relevant to practicing Environmental Consultants and LSRPs (Licensed State Remediation Professionals).
Todd’s presentations at this seminar will center on Legal Background for Site Assessments and Liability Concerns Related to Site Assessments. Other topics include how to conduct successful and legally viable assessments that are consistent with ASTM Standards and other applicable Federal and State regulations, NJDEP’s perspective on Technical Requirements for Site Remediation (N.J.A.C. 7:26E); how to determine the environmental liability of a site before making a costly investment or securing a sales contract, and the differences, similarities and overlaps between and among the ASTM standard, the AAI Rule and the NJ Preliminary Assessment.

About Todd Terhune
Todd Terhune is a an experienced environmental attorney with particular emphasis on environmental due diligence, ISRA compliance, water and wetlands, worker health and safety, environmental insurance, site remediation, environmental permitting, environmental cost recovery, and other environmental regulatory compliance issues that arise in connection with real estate and business transactions, or as a result of regulatory action. Todd’s practice encompasses a wide range of environmental issues in transactional, regulatory compliance and enforcement matters and he routinely engages with and appears before the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection (NJDEP) and the United States Environmental Protection Agency (USEPA).
