On May 17, 2017, William C. Sullivan and Daniel T. McKillop were confirmed as Chairman and Secretary, respectively, of the New Jersey State Bar Association Environmental Law Section (“ELS”) for the 2017-2018 term. The ELS promotes improvement and professionalism in the practice of environmental law, and maintains communications between the members of the State’s environmental bar, the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection, and the federal Environmental Protection Agency.
The ELS also hosts the annual New Jersey Institute for Continuing Legal Education Environmental Law Forum. The 2017 Environmental Law Forum will take place at the Icona Golden Inn in Avalon, NJ from June 23 to June 25, 2017. Mr. McKillop will serve as a Program Chair, and Mr. Sullivan will present on the topic of Land Use law.
