Two members of Scarinci Hollenbeck’s Environmental and Land Use law group, John M. Scagnelli, Partner and Chair of the Group, and William C. Sullivan, Counsel, will be panelists at three environmental sessions at the New Jersey State League of Municipalities’ 101st Annual Conference, to be held in Atlantic City, NJ on November 15-17, 20-16. Mr. Scagnelli also serves as Environmental Counsel to the League. The theme of this year’s conference is Meeting the Challenges of Municipal Government.

Mr. Scagnelli will be a panelist at the MS-4: An Update on Storm Water Regulations session, which will discuss the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection’s (NJDEP) renewal of storm water permits issued to all municipalities for their municipal separate storm sewer systems, or MS-4s. He will also be a panelist at the Get the Lead Out – What Municipalities Can Do session, which will discuss the NJDEP’s new regulations for lead in drinking water at school facilities, and the technical and legal requirements relating to lead in drinking water.

Mr. Sullivan will be a panelist at the Public Access to NJ Waterways session, which will discuss NJDEP regulations and legislation relating to access to New Jersey beaches and waterways.
