In the wake of the outbreak of COVID-19, businesses have been especially challenged, and as the shift from personal appearances to the virtual sphere takes place, businesses must be especially diligent to protect their information from an increased onslaught of cybersecurity attacks.
As I have stressed in my blogs, it is vital for businesses to have a “game plan” in place to protect their virtual infrastructures. This plan starts with training. Training staff on how to detect and report a potential cyber threat is now more important than ever. Then, an assessment of your virtual infrastructures must be accomplished. The tech industry calls it “pin testing”. Finally, written protocols must be developed to safeguard and protect information.
