Paralegal Association of New Jersey Invites eDiscovery Attorney to be Keynote Speaker

Scarinci Hollenbeck Partner Fernando Pinguelo Addressed eDiscovery Trends in Civil Proceedings at General Membership Meeting.

Lyndhurst, NJ, November 20, 2013Fernando M. Pinguelo, a Partner at Scarinci Hollenbeck Attorneys at Law, and Chair of the law firm’s Cyber Security & Data Protection practice group, addressed E-Discovery trends in Civil Proceedings at the general membership meeting of the Paralegal Association of New Jersey on Tuesday, November 19, 2013.

Pinguelo and Natalie S. Feher, Esq. of Complete Discovery Source were invited to speak by JoAnne Haffeman, President of the Association. “We are happy to have had Fernando and Natalie address our organization. As information becomes more abundant, it is imperative that our members stay informed about new developments and trends in eDiscovery.”

Pinguelo addressed new developments in the law, cutting edge tactics in making discovery efficient and affordable while fulfilling obligations under the law, and eDiscovery trends. Feher focused on eDiscovery project management, traditional document management and review standards and the use and increasing acceptance of technology assisted review, and the impact BYOD (bring your own device) has on eDiscovery obligations.

Besides chairing Scarinci Hollenbeck’s Cyber Security & Data Protection practice group, Pinguelo is also co-Chair of Scarinci Hollenbeck’s Crisis and Risk Management Group. He has extensive experience as a trial attorney and has garnered a national and international reputation as one of the pioneers of the emerging practices of cyber law and electronic discovery (eDiscovery). Several local, national, and international syndications have recognized Pinguelo for his work, including Law Technology News, which identified him as one of the few U.S.-based attorneys with advanced experience in managing privacy and security issues.
