Kara A. Kaczynski has been Appointed to Counsel of Scarinci Hollenbeck

Lyndhurst, NJ, February 5, 2015 – Scarinci Hollenbeck is proud to announce that Kara A. Kaczynski, Esq. has been appointed to Counsel as of December 2014. Ms. Kaczynski has practiced as a Senior Associate Attorney for the last thirteen years at the firm, while also maintaining distinguished participation within her legal practice groups.

Ms. Kaczynski concentrates her practice in the areas of municipal law, taxation, zoning, redevelopment, and land use law. Her practice also encompasses various aspects of transactional law relating to real estate development and the funding thereof.

Kara A. Kaczynski began her career representing private land use clients and public zoning and planning boards throughout the State of New Jersey. Ms. Kaczynski has been selected as counsel to the Casino Reinvestment Development Authority, a State entity responsible for reinvesting a portion of gaming industry revenues to revitalize Atlantic City and other areas throughout New Jersey; as special counsel to the Jersey City Redevelopment Agency; and as Redevelopment Counsel to the Township of Bloomfield and the Borough of Roseland. Ms. Kaczynski also served as a member of the Ridgefield Planning Board and in-house counsel to Kushner Companies, a major developer, re-developer and owner/operator of residential, commercial and mixed-use projects throughout the states of New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania.

In addition, Kara A. Kaczynski has experience representing municipalities as general counsel throughout the State of New Jersey and assisting them with various legal issues, including, but not limited to, creating ordinances and resolutions that will improve the lifestyle of the residents, tax appeals, liquor license transfers and renewals, first amendment, and other constitutional protections.
