Currently labeled as “The Treehouse Guys”, the project piloted on Aug. 1 and is expected to be picked up by a major network shortly. The show follows its stars as they travel the nation, building fantastical treehouses everywhere they go.
The Treehouse Guys partnership consists of Chris “Ka-V” Haake, James “B’fer” Roth and an assortment of specialty craftsmen. The two worked together in a rustic Vermont furniture workshop in 2000 before starting to build accessible treehouses for the non-profit Forever Young Treehouses. Over the course of the last 11 years, the pair has designed and built over 30 treehouses all over the nation in public parks, private camps and affluent individuals’ backyards. Their quirky design style and emphasis on natural wood designs is unmistakable, and audiences are sure to be delighted with the process of taking an amazing treehouse from conception to reality.
