On Tuesday, March 29, 2022, Scarinci Hollenbeck Partner Bruce Feffer will be featured as a speaker in “Diversity, Equity & Inclusion in Real Estate”, an event hosted by the Asian American Bar Association of New York (AABANY). Mr. Feffer’s presentation, “Ten Steps Before Step One”, will focus on ethical considerations for attorneys at the start of a real estate transaction. Mr. Feffer will provide an ethics checklist and cover topics such as avoiding conflicts of interest, the rules on taking referrals from brokers and non-lawyers, doing business with clients, and more.

About Bruce Feffer
Bruce Feffer has 30+ years of experience representing numerous clients in buying, selling, financing and leasing all types of properties, including condominiums, houses, factories, warehouses, retail space and office buildings. Mr. Feffer has been actively involved in serving the Asian American community in the areas of real estate, economic development, small business assistance, and voting rights. In 2021, Immigrant Social Services (ISS) presented Mr. Feffer with an appreciation award in recognition of his decades of service. Asian Americans for Equality (AAFE) also honored Mr. Feffer with both the Agent of Change Award and the Dream of Equality Award. In addition, Mr. Feffer has served on the Board of Directors of the Manhattan Chapter of the Asian Real Estate Association of America (AREAA) and is Legal Advisor to the American Chinese Real Estate Society (ACRES). He also represents clients from Hong Kong, China, and throughout Asia.
