McKillop, Secretary, of the New Jersey State Bar Association (NJSBA) Environmental Law Section for 2017-2018. The appointments were made at the NJSBA Annual Meeting last month. Both attorneys are part of Scarinci Hollenbeck’s Environmental & Land Use practice group. The NJSBA’s Environmental Law Section concentrates on promoting improvement and professionalism in the practice of environmental law. The Section also maintains communication with the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection and the federal Environmental Protection Agency. Congratulations to Bill and Dan!
Dan McKillop has more than fifteen years of experience representing corporate and individual clients in complex environmental litigations and regulatory proceedings before state and federal courts and environmental agencies arising under numerous state and federal statutes, including the New Jersey Industrial Site Recovery Act (ISRA) and Spill Compensation and Control Act (Spill Act), and the federal Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA), Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation and Liability Act (CERCLA), and Clean Air and Clean Water Acts.

William Sullivan concentrates his practice in the areas of environmental law, land use law, redevelopment law and renewable energy law. Mr. Sullivan’s practice includes the representation of clients with respect to a wide variety of land use and redevelopment projects, energy infrastructure projects, environmental permitting and compliance, site remediation, and related litigation.He has represented private developers on significant development and redevelopment projects throughout northern New Jersey, in communities such as Hackensack, Ridgefield, Teterboro, Harrison, Kearny, Newark and the Oranges.

Scarinci Hollenbeck is pleased to announce that retired Superior Court Judge, Ronald Lee Reisner, J.S.C. (Ret.), has been selected to be on the Board of Trustees of the U.S. Attorney’s Office Alumni Association for the District of New Jersey. Judge Reisner, who joined the firm after serving fifteen years as a Superior Court Judge in Monmouth County, is also a Trustee for HABcore, Inc. HABcore is a charitable organization which provides permanent and supportive housing for homeless veterans, families and individuals with special needs.
