Red Bank, New Jersey, October 23, 2017 – Fernando M. Pinguelo, Partner and Chair of the firm’s Cyber Security & Data Protection and Crisis & Risk Management groups, was among the esteemed panelists from across the country discussing timely cybersecurity and data privacy topics. The presentation was part of Albany Law School’s two-day Cybersecurity and the Law Conference held on October 19-20, 2017. The Conference was geared towards raising awareness of cybersecurity risks specific to business, law, government, and law enforcement sectors, and legal issues associated with cybersecurity.

Speakers explored latest developments, and trending topics related to cybersecurity, including Internet of Things, Cyber Insurance, and Liability, Cloud Computing Rewards and Risks, and Effective Breach Response Strategies. Other talking points included cybersecurity issues in law enforcement and local government.

Among the keynote speakers were Mark S. Zaid and Steven Spano. Joining Pinguelo on the panel to discuss practical and proven data breach response strategies were Jeffrey Kosseff, U.S. Naval Academy; Joe Vigorito, Annese; and Leslie Corbo, Utica College.
