Biography
Jessica Cunha is an Associate at Scarinci Hollenbeck, LLC, where she focuses her practice on education law and labor and employment law. She supports the firm’s public sector clients, including boards of education and municipalities, on matters spanning special education, tenure, employment disputes, and the day-to-day personnel and operational questions that shape New Jersey’s schools and government entities.
Before joining the firm, Jessica served as a Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable Gary Potters, J.S.C., in the Superior Court of New Jersey, Hudson County Vicinage, where she gained substantive experience in civil practice and motion practice at the trial court level.
During law school, Jessica was a student attorney in the Seton Hall Law Center for Social Justice’s Health Justice Clinic, where she provided full representation to clients in housing discrimination matters and Social Security disputes. She also interned with the New York Legal Assistance Group and with the New Jersey Office of the Attorney General, Division of Law, and was an active member of the Women’s Law Forum and the Health Law Forum. Upon graduation, Jessica was recognized under the Seton Hall Law School Pro Bono Service Program for completing more than 50 hours of pro bono work during law school.
Jessica is admitted to practice in New Jersey. She earned her J.D. from Seton Hall University School of Law in 2024 and her B.S. in Political Communication, summa cum laude, from Emerson College in 2021, with minors in Nonprofit Communication Management, Health and Society, and Public Diplomacy.
