Biography

Chris Seelinger is Counsel in the Litigation Department, representing clients in complex commercial disputes in state and federal courts and in arbitration. His experience includes business torts, corporate governance, contracts, antitrust, intellectual property, fiduciary duties, and restrictive covenants.

Chris also brings a sophisticated command of technology and eDiscovery to his matters. He uses bespoke scripts and self-made apps to organize dense factual records, identify critical evidence, and compile a persuasive record while reducing the cost and burden of eDiscovery for his clients. His ability to combine legal judgment, business fluency, and technical expertise is a distinguishing feature of his practice.

A graduate of Columbia Law School, Chris was a member of the Columbia Science and Technology Law Review. He earned his B.B.A., cum laude, in Finance and in the elite Business Honor Program at the University of Texas at Austin.

With a deeper understanding of business operations, Chris recognizes that legal disputes are rarely just legal problems.  He works to understand each client’s business interests and objectives, allowing him to identify risks, develop leverage, and deliver broader success for his clients.

Chris is also a programmer who has developed several free tools for lawyers using JavaScript and Python, including the New Jersey eCourts browser extension and AI-powered software that delivers cutting-edge technology for legal workflows without compromising confidentiality or security. For that work, Law.com named him New Jersey’s 2025 Innovator of the Year.
