Biography
David Einhorn, Chair of the firm’s Technology Law practice group, handles diverse matters in intellectual property and technology areas. He has obtained successes in many prominent and precedent-setting cases in the fields of patent infringement, trademark infringement, copyright infringement, cybersquatting, trade name misappropriation and insurance coverage.
Mr. Einhorn has obtained successes in many prominent and precedent-setting cases in the fields of patent infringement, trademark infringement, copyright infringement, cybersquatting, trade name misappropriation and insurance coverage. He handles diverse matters in intellectual property and technology areas involving patents, trademarks, service marks, trade dress, copyrights and domain names. He has solid expertise in drafting and negotiating intellectual property license agreements in various fields of technology and the arts. He frequently serves as an arbitrator for the National Arbitration Forum with respect to domain name cases, and also lectures on licensing and domain name issues.
Cyber Security & Data Privacy
David Einhorn’s practice is at the forefront of cyber protection. He has expertise in the fields of cyber security, domain name and Internet rights enforcement, and related issues of data privacy. Notably, he is editor-in-chief of the legal treatise Intellectual Property Laws in Cyberspace. He also handles litigation and arbitration involving cyber enforcement. In addition to advocating for clients in the field, he serves as an arbitrator for the National Arbitration Forum and has decided over 300 domain name dispute cases. He is also an active participant with the Coalition for a Secure and Transparent Internet. David speaks at numerous industry events concerning cyber law issues. Among the myriad of clients which he serves in this field, he represents a billion-dollar computer company with regard to cyber matters and a prominent hotel chain with respect to data privacy issues.
