Young, employment law attorney and partner at Scarinci Hollenbeck will be among the presenters at a special seminar discussing the latest trends impacting corporate retirement plans and the fiduciaries who oversee them. The seminar, Staying Ahead of the (k)urve; The Latest 401(k) Trends and Best Practices will be held on October 27, 2015 from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the New York Marriot East Side. Mr. Young and his co-presenter, Donna M. Massanova, CPA, a Partner at Baker Tilly Virchow Krause, LLP, will share their expertise on the importance of understanding the fiduciary role and responsibilities and the risk of non-compliance of a qualified employee benefit plan. According to Mr. Young, “The session is valuable for all business owners, HR executives and anyone involved with oversight of a company’s corporate retirement plans, as there have been several important developments in employment law recently and businesses need to know about them.” With more than four decades of labor law experience dealing extensively with ERISA, employee benefits and executive compensation as well as having earned the American Jurisprudence award, Mr. Young has made a name for himself in the legal world as an expert on the subject both in the U.S. and with overseas businesses including the Netherlands, Japan, and the Czech Republic. Mr. Young frequently lectures on ERISA fiduciary matters, pension and tax planning.
