February 18, 2021, Lyndhurst, NJ – New Jersey State Bar Association (NJSBA) President Kimberly A. Yonta recently appointed Scarinci Hollenbeck attorney Corey L. LaBrutto to serve on three NJSBA committees. Effective as of February 1, 2021, Ms. LaBrutto serves on the Appellate Practice, Intellectual Property and Business & Commercial Litigation committees.

“It is an honor to have been appointed to serve on these committees,” remarked Ms. LaBrutto. “I am deeply grateful to have the opportunity to connect more deeply with the New Jersey law community and humbled to play a small role in the development of law,” she continued.

Ms. LaBrutto joined Scarinci Hollenbeck’s litigation practice group in December 2020. She routinely handles a wide variety of commercial litigation matters on behalf of New Jersey & New York clients. As a member of the three NJSBA committees, Ms. LaBrutto contributes to various discussions of developments in relevant practice areas, developments that are needed in those practices and how these changes or developments impact the practice of law in New Jersey. The purpose of these discussions is to make recommendations to the NJSBA, a prominent influence in the law community, on whether to advocate for or against certain legal developments so as to further refine the practice of law in the state.

“We are proud of Corey for her recognition from the NJSBA,” stated Robert E. Levy, Partner & Chair of the firm’s Litigation practice group. “Corey is an excellent attorney and we are pleased to see that she will contribute her skills to such an important organization in the State,” he continued.
