Shane I. Birnbaum advises corporations and individuals in all aspects of business and intellectual property law, including transactional and litigation matters, both domestically and abroad. He handles business, contractual and intellectual property matters across an array of industries, including entertainment, fashion, and musical instruments. His experience includes working closely with jewelry and fashion designers, musicians, record labels, publishing companies, artists, songwriters, producers, managers, and agents to name just a few.
While attending Brooklyn Law School, Mr. Birnbaum interned at various record labels, including both Universal Music Group and Sony Music Entertainment. As a law clerk at two New York law firms, he gained valuable experience in entertainment and business-related matters. In addition, he interned for the Honorable Ariel E. Belen (Ret.) of the Appellate Division, 2nd Dept.
