Cynthia S. Burke, SHRM-SCP, Director of Human Resources, is responsible for assessing, managing and improving initiatives relating to the firm’s human resources function. She works alongside the firm’s Managing Partner and Executive Director on a variety of HR-related matters including strategy, talent management, compensation, learning & development, benefits, employee relations, diversity and inclusion, compliance and much more.
Ms. Burke has nearly 20 years of experience in human resources, serving in a HR management or consultant role for several companies in varying industries. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Burke was affiliated with Penfed / McGraw-Hill Federal Credit Union, where she served as a Vice President, Human Resources. Her role on the Senior Leadership team included the strategic direction, development of company policy, project management, Vice Chair of 401K Committee and assessing the overall effectiveness of the HR function. Ms. Burke is certified by the Society of Human Resource Management as a Senior Certified Professional, in HIPPA and as an HR professional by the Human Resources Certification Institute. She also holds certifications in Lominger Competency modeling and CPFC Certified Personal Finance counseling. She is also certified in several personality assessments.
