Biography

John G. Geppert represents private and public sector clients in labor and employment matters. He has extensive experience representing school boards in all facets of education law. He serves as General Counsel to many boards of education throughout New Jersey.

John G. Geppert represents private and public sector clients in labor and employment matters. He has extensive experience representing school boards in all facets of education law. He serves as General Counsel to many boards of education throughout New Jersey. In that capacity, his role includes conducting negotiations with employee associations and collective bargaining units. He also handles all aspects of employee and student disciplinary hearings, and participates in all board issues including tenure, HIB, residency, and tuition.

Mr. Geppert frequently appears before the New Jersey Commissioner of Education, Arbitrators, the Office of Administrative Law (“OAL”), and Public Employment Relations Commission (“PERC”). He also argues before the New Jersey Supreme Court, Appellate Division, and other State and Federal Courts.
